Halloween 2014

Tonight we celebrated Halloween at our apartment complex.  We had a group dinner provided by the hotel and the kids got to go trick-or-treating.  We had a great time. 

Julia spent alot of time and effort making the costumes even with the help of our basic sewing machine....  They turned out awesome!

Another Bali Trip

For fall break, we decided to take a 4 day trip to Bali.  We rented a villa in Sanur and mostly just chilled.  I rented a motor bike and used it to get the requisite pizza and gelato.  We did visit the Bali Bird Park and Uluwatu Hindu temple.  At the bird park, we saw lots of birds and they also had a reptile park as well.  We even feed a saltwater croc a live chicken which was pretty impressive.  We saw monkeys at the temple and also a local dance show which featured Hindu characters including a very animated monkey.  We also met up with friends in a posh resort and had a nice evening with them.  All in all, it was a refreshing trip that ended too soon.
